Hey guys...I'm here to tell you about my sweet weekend at the Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, California. I recently spent two nights at the Miramonte with my boyfriend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary...and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd like to keep it short but tell you just why this place exceeded our expectations.
First of all, the whole resort is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many cute spots spread out around the resort that you can relax at... and lets not even get started with the countless photo op spots. With a perfect combination of greenery, palm trees, and a desert look, this place DEFINITELY has resort vibes.
The best part of the trip was spending time at the pools. My boyfriend and I made it a goal to spend most of the days laying by the water and soaking in the sun. Theres nothing better than lounging by the pool and being able to order cocktails and food without leaving your chair. Highlight of my weekend: floating on a giant slice of pizza.
If you ever find yourself at the Miramonte Resort, going to the spa is a MUST! We planned a 50 minute couples massage which included an all day spa access pass. We ended up spending the entire day at the spa because it was so nice and had so many amenities, like a cool salt-water pool and a fancy locker room with steam rooms.
Cant forget to mention our daily breakfast at the Citrus & Palm Restaurant located in the resort, with our favorite server Edgar. Some of our favorites were the three-egg-omelet, the brioche French toast, and the Coachella Valley sunrise...paired perfectly with the iced vanilla latte or mocha frappe. With great service, delicious food, and an amazing view, the Citrus & Palm Restaurant became one of our new favorite breakfast spots.
Lastly, but most importantly, the drinks. As a person who loves delicious cocktails, drinks are a crucial part of a perfect vacation... and the Miramonte Resort definitely nailed it with their cocktail selections. I started the days with a "From The Well Spa" cocktail from the Citrus & Palm Restaurant. Heres the description of the drink, I had to put it here for you guys because it was just so damn good: "This light and refreshing beverage combines Mionetto Prosecco, fresh squeezed watermelon juice, Aperol, club soda and fresh lavender"....told you! Then by the pool, the Miramonte Margarita was perfectly strong and refreshing. Around 4 PM we hit happy hour at the Tavern and had a great Lavender Lemonade.
If you couldn't tell already, our trip was one we will never forget... and I can assure you, I will be returning to the Miramonte Indian Wells Resort and Spa. We loved the hotel staff who worked constantly to keep the hotel clean and the guests happy.
